28 August 1977

I am Mevlana.
We found the sun from the shadow, [sun==Prophet Mohammad; shadow==1. The universe is the shadow of The Reality. 2. Shadow of the tree of the saints.]
When we found, we came to [spiritually] mature hal. [when we found we became [spiritually] mature]
We came,
We saw all [humans],
We said, “Let selam [peace/greeting] be.”

Let us give
Not to the one who comes from lineage
But to the one who comes from temperament.
In each leaf that we give to [leaf==human]
Let us see the one who loves.

Hemp [marijuana] is necessary for the one who sleeps;
It makes [one] sleep with delight,
[it] Makes [one] say with deep love.
However,
Neither our word
Nor our deep love
Is from the inside of hemp;
It is because of the one who knows the path,
It is because of the one who sees the good deed.
Let my Allah be pleased.

To the one who does not open the page [of our chats],
To the one who does not go through [the state of] ‘sayha,’
‘Deep love’ word comes as weak.
‘Sayha’ is the one who shouts, who revolts.
Revolt makes [one] search,
Revolt makes [one] learn,
Makes [one] find the one who teaches.

One does not say,
“You are without water,”
To the one who is at the source of water,
Who fills his/her jug.
One is not satiated if he/she does not see the water as abundant. [analogy with spiritual water:]
Beauty is that:
Let us drink,
Let us be satiated,
Let us carry,
Let us present.

Let us not search darkness
In well-lighted heart.

Let us not put heart in disorderly order. [let us not fall in love with the disorderly order]
It does not improve before getting disorderly.
It does not lessen before bending.
If you say,
“What is the one that lessens?”
Accumulation [that occurs]
In the direction toward which the one who bends, bends:
Hate, grudge, greediness.
Event will happen,
Human will bend so that
His/her accumulation lessens.

Our place is evident:
We give like in the example of waterfall.
Among the ones who come on the [current] day,
We see the one who flows.
The one who comes, kneads the one who goes.
The one who knows, provides the one who finds.

“What I see [are] so lofty mountains,
What I praise [are] so great plains,”
He said, my Yunus entered the word.

“I came to myself on mountain and plain,
I was chosen in vineyard and wine,”
He said, Hayyam took word.
"If you ask [about] the wine from the one who drinks,
If you spread [the news]
That he/she lost consciousness,
Then you are remembered as drunk;”
They said [so],
They put me in sieve,
They sifted [me].
They sprinkled the remain to the universe.
I said,
“How beautiful,
I stayed with ME.”

“Do we look in the mirror?
Do we light torch in the one who wishes?”
He said,
Hadji Bektas came.


We came from [the past] era,
We found in the new one,
We gave like in the example of rain.
In the region where its forest is abundant,
The place of the rain is known.
Manyness of the tree[s]
Is example of love.
What is meant by,
“Become One,
Find in ONEness,” [? Find together,” ?]
Is that.
Single tree shelters in its shade
Saying, “Darling.”
Let us be forest,
Let us give hand in hand,
Let us wait for the blessing [rain] like that.
At that time,
Deserts become conductive,
Forests become the ones that make ‘be gathered.’
They spread, they spread;
What is being done, what will be done is that.
What is being given with word [i.e. our chats]
Is the one that is planted in the soil.
What is given with hal
Is the one of which the fruit is gathered.

There is labor in ant,
[there is] Intention in protector.
“What is the one that protects?” is said.
The protector is his/her ego that human defeats.
“He/she defeats whom by whom?” is being asked.
If logic and ego fight with one another,
It becomes 'one’s finding Oneself.'
When logic wins the war,
Bending falls onto ego. [“To bend forward” [to accept the defeat] is left to ego.]

We did not take the one that is scattered,
We did not stay away from love.
In each event that we took as subject,
We gave the solution in accordance with human’s logic;
Yet we gave
Without being [totally] open,
Without [totally] covering the page,
[we gave] With its metaphorical meaning.
The one that is said openly
Comes like in the example of ‘fortune telling,’
Human loses the power of searching him/herself.
What is essential is
Not to learn the event
But to find oneself.
‘To find oneself’ happens
Not by gathering the one that is scattered
But by entering interpretations.
Human finds by searching in all directions.
We never give the one that does not exist [that is not true],
What we take is as much [spiritually] mature as one is. [what you take is as much [spiritually] mature as you are]

The one who eats the fruit
Knows [it] from its taste
Even if he/she does not see [it].
The one who smells the flower
Knows [it] from its smell.
[similarly,] Human’s judgment is also necessary
For him/her to solve him/herself.

“If the one whom I lean on, does not exist;
If my day does not give peace,
My life does not suffice,” is being said.
It suffices,
[furthermore:]
It is leftover.
When the one who comes [to earth] passes [away], [? When the one [event] that comes, passes [when the event is over], ?]
When
“Was it sufficient?” is said,
You laugh [because it was more than sufficient].
Yet you are still curious about the page that will come.

No water is given to the horse
That comes from race,
No water is added to the food that is being cooked,
Why?
Health of one of them,
Taste of the other one
Are necessary.
If it is like that,
Let us find the order in the event.
With each hal,
Let us conform our vote to the order.

“For the one who comes, [? "For the one that comes, ?]
I planted corn; [? I buried the narrow; ?]
For the one who laughs,
I sang folk song;
To the one who asks [about the sun / about HIS path], [sun==Prophet Mohammad]
I gave shade [of the tree of the saints],”
He said,
Pir Sultan Abdal came.
“Do we plant the corns,
Do we take its tassel,
Do we give [corn] cob to the one who eats?”
I said,
They laughed.
They respected my voice from the rocks. [I offered my corn by shouting so that everyone heard, yet they just heard the echoes that were reflecting from the rocks [they did not pay any attention to the meaning]]
What I mean by ‘respect’:
They respected the one
Who nourished his/her worry,
Who paved for its progress.

If you say,
“Mountain [was] lofty,
I could not cross.
I could not hit with stone on the plateau:
'Let me break the walnut,' I said,
[however,] I could not hit [with the stone],”
[then] Of course they laugh.
If you can not find stone on the big plateau,
If you can not break the walnut
[while] Saying, “Let me eat [it],”
Fault belongs
Neither to wolf
Nor to bird;
You have to think [about it] yourself. [it is your fault]

“If he is snow
He will melt,
If he finds path
He will come down to the plain,”
They said,
They saw Abdal as far [distant].
I saw The Beautiful at far,
I mixed snow with honey.
I loved the one who loved,
[I loved the one] Who gave from The Root.
“Let selam [greeting/peace] to all of you,”
He said, Abdal walked.

What is the one that comes from the moon
And the one who finds from the lake?
If what he/she sees is on earth,
It is remedy for the trouble;
If what he/she sees is in The Lofty One,
[it is] Delight for his/her heart.

In vineyard: grape.
In Close Friend: my eye.
To the one who loves: my word [our chat].
We came with Essence,
We gave to all [humans].

What close friend will give to close friend
Is his/her heart.
What close friend will take from close friend
Is his/her hand.

Let us say, ‘Eyvallah,’
In chat, let us see ourselves like in the example of mirror.


Goodbye.

I am Mevlana.
The one that is given with music
Is the one that comes to ear as nice.
Let my Allah be pleased
With the one who takes with saz, [saz=a stringed musical instrument]
With the one who gives with word,
With the one who knows
The One Who gives from sky
The one who/that comes.

Let the interrogation of the one
Who comes [to earth] as guest
Be erased during his/her judgment.

Let the one who says, “Let me cross the creek,”
Step his/her foot on stone.
Let one not say, “Does it make [me] fall?”
Let one not think that it makes fall.

Do not say, “How about if it stays in half [way],” [how about if it does not reach the end/how about if it occurs only halfway]
Do not fall in doubt about number.

In the taking of Yunus,
In his coming to chat,
There is the one who gives what he takes;
There is the one who asks the one whom he loves.

Guest knows his/her judgment. [human who comes to earth [guest] knows that he/she will be judged by Allah at migration time…]

Know that
What you take,
What you give
Is from the ones that disseminate.

The one who is suitable is seen while going.
What close friend will take
Is the one that he/she will give with close friend.
Let us take the one who comes as suitable,
Let us know his/her Owner.

If mountains, stones say,
If The Beautiful One manifests on the [current] day,
We would rejoice.
If the one
Who can not mature [spiritually] while being recorded, [while his/her sins/good deeds are being recorded]
Who can stay in event
Cries, [sheds tears]
Wishes for remedy for his/her trouble,
What will you say?
Of course he/she matures [spiritually], [? Of course it [the event] proceeds, ?]
The one who stayed as half, develops [spiritually]. [? The one that stayed as half, develops. [the event that seemed as incomplete, develops…] ?]

Say to him/her:
Spiritual immaturity
Is in knowing nothingness from The Existence. [=spiritual maturity is knowing The Existence from nothingness…]
[Previous verses may be better understood under the light of the following information: Allah created/creates the matter by transforming some of HIS LIGHT into particles [matter]. Universe is the shadow of The Reality. The Reality is Real, matter is imaginary. Spiritual maturity is reached when human realizes The Reality, while being in the image…]

The one who is called as ‘spare’:
[is] The one who falls in doubt about what he/she searches.
If he/she does not mature [spiritually],
Order does not come.
If there is no order,
HIS human does not laugh.

Let us say, “We loved,”
Let us share our love with all [humans].

Butterfly takes from The Giver,
Bee gives to the one who loves, [both of them fly; to fly==to rise higher spiritually] [analogy with humans...]
Ant fills its nest.

What you give from your food,
What you add from what you take
Does not give the one that is called as valid.
[It is thought that the previous verses are about physical donations that people make. According to ONEness of HEARTs’ teachings human’s success on the test on earth is based upon the following criteria: 1) Love, 2) Vision, 3) Display…]

Sheep finds its path with lamb,
HIS human [finds HIS path] with the writing. [the writing==1. The events that Allah creates as part of the destiny; 2. ONEness of HEARTs]
What you wait for, saying, “It will come [it will happen],”
Is that you weave the yarn.
Even if it comes as contradictory,
Let you not take [it],
Let you not say, “What a pity.”
Because what comes as contradictory
Changes your direction,
Brings your order to the one that is expected.

Ali [who is]
The one whom you call as ‘close friend,’
The one whom you know [that he is] in the 'post,' [post==congregation to unite in ONEness]
The one whom you bow before, with love,
[Ali is] Your support whom you lean on.
Let us come into being with close friend, [? Let us mature [spiritually] with close friend, ?]
Let us come together with love.
In 'coming together,' love is seen,
Tree is weaved like in the example of leaves.

What is given since birth [i.e. The LIGHT that human wastes during his/her lifetime on earth]
Is taken to interrogation;
The one who is tied
With blood,
With life,
With skin
Is given [to interrogation].
[Previous and following verses may be better understood under the light of the following information: During the test on earth human is expected to erase blood [i.e. not favor the ones who have blood connection [i.e. relatives] over other humans], to erase skin [i.e. not discriminate based on the color of the skin], to realize that all humans carry the same Life. Such human has no interrogation at the time of migration to after earth life. With sins, human loses The LIGHT that he/she had at the time of birth on earth…]
It is said that
We waited, HE gave,
He/she gave in respect,
He/she stood on the shore, [ocean==God]
He/she entered [after earth life] without judgment.

In selam [peace/greeting], love is seen.

What is asked from the one who goes,
You take from the one that comes. [i.e. ONEness of HEARTs]
Do not glance at
What the one who [? that ?] comes from lineage, gives as game.
[it is thought that the previous four verses are about humans who follow the spiritual beliefs of their ancestors]

Be entrusted to my Allah.

Goodbye.
