I am Mevlana.
“We will put the light shoe on [to put on light shoe==to follow the footprints of Prophet Mohammad]
We will go to the one who calls,”
We said, we gave before,
We presented with word to the essence.
Let selam [peace/greeting] be to all of you.
Let every human find one another on the soft path.
Life and Darling are not in separation,
All humans’ existence is not different.
Let it not be thought that our nest does not suffice. [nest==Mevlana's/Garib's congregation]
Close friend searches close friend on the right,
Searches on the left.
Specialty of our nest,
Its beauty is in the giving.
[when] Heart promenades, [instead of going on HIS path]
Path becomes longer.
The one who is [spiritually] mature, [how one gets spiritually mature]
We gave at the nest.
“We will come from the path,
We will go on the journey,” we said.
Minaret wants muezzin.
When hearts search,
Our path is open.
We will give The Reality to the one who searches,
We will go wherever he/she is.
I said [say] openly without [word] being given to interpretation:
It will open page by page,
Each bridge will be passed.
Garden became [like] emerald [all green],
It will become park,
It will come to all [humans] as open.
Park will turn into forest.
The one who says,
“I became owner of the garden,”
Let him/her claim the ownership of the park and the forest
So that
He/she becomes wider in his/her own action.
“There is no separation,” we said,
We gave before.
Let us say the one that is asked about.
Say to the one who says
That he/she drinks sip by sip,
That he/she runs away from wideness:
There is no place for worry.
However,
Let him/her change the physician,
Let him/her not avoid eating,
Let him/her not look around saying, “I am tired.”
When
“It is necessary that he/she rests,”
Is said,
Let him/her ask for help from the sun. [sun==Prophet Mohammad]
Let one not say,
“How about if it does not happen?”
Let no place be given to worry.
Our pleading is [for] all humans.
He/she could not get breath from the place
Where he/she consulted,
He/she could not find the peace.
It is
Not because of birth
But because of [spiritual] maturation.
He/she finds place to [for] the new one,
He/she forgets the one that passed.
Let him/her be entrusted to my Allah.
He/she wished for remedy,
Let him/her find.
To the one who says,
“I am the leaf of the tree, [leaf==human; tree==Mevlana's/Garib's congregation]
I am the soil of the garden”:
You take from HIS soft path,
You find The Reality like that.
When meydan opens to you,
When narrow bridge is crossed,
You will see like in the example of mirror.
“Let me gather flower by bunches,
Let me give to the one who stands on my path,”
He said, my Yunus entered the word.
Beauty is in his essence
The one whom he embraces is in his word.
Notch is crossed,
Narrowness is passed.
What is seen in the giving of the sun,
Is the one that sprinkles onto the shore. [sun==Prophet Mohammad; ocean==God]
Let us erase the worry,
Let us divide the events;
Let us divide so that
We throw away the difficulty.
“Notch is crossed,” we said.

I am Mevlana.
It is asked
Place from the one who passed, [the one who migrates to after earth life seeks his/her place]
Path from the one who comes. [the one who comes to earth seeks HIS path]
‘Helva’ is mixed with sugar. [helva=a sweet prepared with sesame oil, various cereals, and syrup or honey; it has been customary to distribute helva in the name of a human who passed away…]
Let selam [peace/greeting] be to all of you.
Let one find salvation in its taste.
What you expect from stove
Is what you add to the armful.
Iron melts in fire.
Human finds in shape.
On the stove that burns,
In the food that boils,
The one who conforms to ‘joining’ is seen.
“How?” is being said.
What gives the taste of the food that boils:
Bitter, sweet, salt that are among its additives,
All together they become one.
Only when it is boiled,
When it comes to the state that can be eaten,
[then] It gives its taste.
In the moment [when it is boiling], “There is nothing that changes,” is said;
Wait, see.
If you ask path from the one who promenades,
He/she gives from the flat one.
If you ask hal from the degenerate,
He/she makes [you] walk on stony path.
‘Hard nut’ is said, [hard nut=idiom meaning 'intractable person']
Worry is added to worry.
Let it not be forgotten:
How much hard it may ever be,
When it is broken with stone,
What comes to hand is its essence.
You break the hard one with [another] hard one:
You know in human, the one who becomes [spiritually] mature.
The one who puts another human in his/her place,
During the course [of action],
Is the one who takes the stone onto the head.
The One Whom you call as 'Close Friend,'
The One Whom you know as 'Close Friend:'
The fact that you hide The Reality from your essence
Is seen.
In the mirror
You see as you look.
Be among the ones who laugh
So that you see the one who laughs,
So that you find your essence like that.
Human should first know him/herself
So that he/she can open path to the one who is mistaken.
Say to him/her:
You could not be close friend
[who is] With soft hand,
[who is] With soft tongue.
You could not know that
The Reality was/is in
Earth custom.
Earth
Educates the one with worry, the one without worry, [educates both human who worries and the one who does not worry]
Grinds the one who knows, the one who does not know.
Let my Allah be pleased with the one who knows.
Let HIM make the one who does not know, search,
[let HIM] Make [him/her] find.
[my word is]
To the one who decorates his/her worry
And throws [him/herself away] from his/her place [in after earth life],
To the one who adds poison to his/her heart, with word.
The one who closes the curtain
To what the sun gives, [sun==Prophet Mohammad]
To what the mud builds,
Has no word [to say] about the sun.
There is no place for worry,
Your food cooks.
In patience,
Salvation is seen.
“Is it soon?” is being said.
The day on which you will say,
“Let my food cook,
Let it come to table,”
Is soon.
The value of the one who joins is great.
“It has been like in the example of the salt of the food,
What should my pleading be?” you say.
My Yunus
Knows from earth,
Searches from torrent,
Asks from path.
“There is smell of burn in the question,” he says.
“Leaf can not break off the branch,
Flower can not get out of the hand.
Branch
Is adorned with leaf,
Is decorated with flower,” we said.
You ask about your pleading.
The one that develops is seen
In the water of the lake;
The one who has heart-to-heart talk is seen
In the wideness.
Yet in the sea
There is the event of self cleaning.
What is meant by ‘self cleaning’ is
Renewal.
Do not say,
“I can not wake up
Before my food cooks,
Before digging the disorderly order.”
Whatever is said,
Let one conform to what is being said.

The one[s] whom you know as support
Is [are] so many;
The One Whom you will trust
Is The Lofty One.
The mirror of The Reality
Is the order [orderliness].
The One Who sets up the order
Is The One Who writes.
The One Who writes
Does not ruin,
Human’s power
Is not sufficient to ruin.
There is no place for worry.
It is not the place of the effort. [you do not need to spend any effort [to change the order]]
There is no difference in interpretation.
If the reason is asked,
If it is interpreted at the passage, [if interpretation is made about passage]
What changes is only the thought.
The one who gives hand to the one who falls down
Is the one who says, “Let me be support.”
Let it not be forgotten:
The one who gives hand
May fall too.
What gives one’s smoke:
The one who builds the stove without chimney.
When you look at the sun,
When, “My Allah,” is said,
Let us give your pleading:
“I have read Yasin, [36th sura of Koran]
I waited for the one that will happen,” [? “I waited for the one who will mature [spiritually],” ?]
You say.
In Yasin,
There is the big one of the pleading:
From sea until sky.
From Friday to Friday
Read forty one Yasins,
For the consent of Allah.
“Let me take the new one,
Let me know my pleading,” you say.
‘Salavat’ is necessary for you [salavat=1. a prayer in which God is asked to bless the Prophet Muhammad and his descendants [i.e. all humans]. 2. ritual prayers, namaz.]
To disperse your smoke.
“Let me see my four directions,
Let me gather my four days,”
You say.
Add to your pleading,
Wait for the day that comes.
The day
That conforms from heart,
That stays without reason [cause].
“Is it seen that day is without reason?” is being said.
When doors of reason [cause] are closed to HIS human,
Of course it is seen.
Be entrusted to my Allah.
The beauty of intention
Opens the doors of reason [cause].
Like that, human passes
From beautiful to beautiful.
When intention is bad
My Allah does not cover the beautiful.
HE only leaves the one who takes the intention to bad [HE only leaves the one with bad intention]
Without reason [cause].
We gave before,
We made known its name.
It is the salt of the food,
Quick one of the day.
It is the one that gives The Reality,
That shows to the one who does not know.
Do not stay away from good deed,
Do not see bad in yourself.
Let you say,
“I conformed to The One Who writes,
Let me see The Beautiful One, I said,”
Let you add [this] to your pleading.
Let you be entrusted to my Allah.

I am Mevlana.
We put the light shoe on, [to put on light shoe==to follow the footprints of Prophet Mohammad]
We stood on the path of Darling;
With HIS each human, we admired deeply.
We found thanks to The Beautiful One,
We took greeting from our nest. [nest==Mevlana's/Garib's congregation]
If we say,
“Let us stay as close friend with close friend,
Let us be remedy to [for] each trouble,”
[then] Let us wish for remedy to my Allah.
In the voice of the singing bird,
In the essence of the one who knows place,
There is the one who knows HIS path,
There is the one who builds with love.
When cavity comes to the trunk of the tree,
It becomes nest to [for] bird.
In its leaf, one finds him/herself. [leaf==human who is member of Mevlana's/Garib's congregation]
Let the place of everyone be known.
Let the direction of each event be found.
Openness is educative.
If you take from the educative direction, it educates.
If you stay in critic, it scatters.
If there is no one who leans on,
Then no support is necessary.
The issue of
The one who performs the vision in interpretation
Is temporary.
The new one is inclined toward questions.
Vision should be based on knowing
So that it is educative.
When “I wonder whether…” is said
There is doubt.
In doubt, path is narrow.
Before erasing “I wonder whether,”
You can not put point,
You can not get out of the smoke.
What you take to be satiated,
You can not solve from conformity. [what you do for living does not help you in spiritual maturation]
[spiritual] Washer, as he/she disseminates,
The one who conforms, as he/she sees, [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]
