I am Mevlana.
The beautiful [one] looks in eye…
The beautiful [one] ignites fire in heart…
Tree drops the ripe fruit.
Yellow rose is equal to be tested,
Pink rose [is equal] to be decorated,
Red [rose is equal] to be loved,
White [rose is equal] to be praised.
The Reality is found from the root.
If it is watered, it gets branches;
If it gets branches, it becomes one with the surrounding,
It blossoms, it is fertilized…
Is there any one who/that is without OWNER?
Is there any one who/that stays without help?
I held red and white rose,
I added yellow to its color.
“Beautiful,” I said,
I saw the reality… [? I saw The Reality... ?]
In The Beautiful One,
I found the peace of my day…
“If I fish in the lake,
If I ignite fire and cook [the fish]” he said,
My Yunus took the word. [he joined the chat]
There is moon on the surface of the lake,
There is crescent on its beautiful face.
At the place where there is eyebrow,
In the direction that the eye erases,
There is The One That is searched, [there is The One] That is known.
“Do we open the door?
Do we cross beyond?
Do we all meet at the passage that is consulted about?”
He said, Hadji Bektas came.
"We had no door that was narrow,
We did not see ugly, we did not complain.
'Four' does not stay away from 'four';
We did not beat ourself saying, “We are separate [different].”
We took sound from all languages,
We played “saz” from hearing hand. [saz= a stringed instrument (which somewhat resembles a lute)]
We said, “Word,” we entered the essence.
We did not ask reason because of the little. [we did not question [when it was] a little]
We never fall in doubt [we did never doubt]
About the hand of the one who gave little,
About the tongue of the one who gave a lot,
About the heart of the one who said word.
If you separate the bee from the honey,
If you peel off the wound from the body,
It is not seen
That the bee longs for its giving,
That HIS human complains about his/her wound.
[therefore, as human be humble too:]
Neither brag about your giving,
Nor regret your judgment [by HIM].
“What the horse takes away, mind brings it [back],”
He said, Ali took the word.
Place
Where there is no weed,
Where horse does not stop
Is not as ‘not created.’ [is also created]
The one who does not know his/her OWNER
Is the one who did/does not find him/herself.
Let you not talk badly,
Do not underestimate the one that you stretch. [do not underestimate the one whom you anger with your words]
The one that is being consulted:
Similar to the knot tied in satin,
Let it be known that it will be embroidered as in the case of embroidery.
(Question: Who is consulted with, or what is consulted about?)
The order of yesterday-[of] the [current] day-[of] tomorrow.
Is heart [a] golden bowl? [gold==spiritual meaning]
Is your lifetime [a] silk bag? [is your lifetime a bag made of silk?]
Its selection is not up to you
So that you say, “Beautiful-ugly.”
Do not forget:
Whatever there is in your hand,
Let you put inside, that one.
Let you not say, “You to me, me to you.”
You,
Let you present what you have, until the last drop.
Do not say, “My bowl stayed [as] empty.” [Do not complain saying, “My bowl is now empty.”]
The one that goes [as] empty
Is better than the one that goes [as] full but without conforming.
“Let birth be addition to the pleading of all [humans],
Let finding [HIM] be equal to the intention of all [humans],” he said,
HIS Representative conveyed his greeting.
Let skies be opened to them,
Let hands be held [in hand] saying, “HAK.” [? Let humans start burning [in heart] saying, “HAK.” ?]
What one will take,
Let [it] be theirs.
Let my Creator make conform to The One Who gives.
“I am Ali, greeting,
I am Ali, salvation,
I am Ali, keramet,” I said, [keramet= 1. miracle worked by God through a person. 2. the God-given power of working miracles.]
I made known the one that was given.
Ya Allah! [ya Allah==thank YOU for my God-given share, I accept without any complaint]
Ya Allah!
Ya Allah!
All of us, we said:
“Forever, you are ONE,
We conformed to Your ONEness,
We became ONEness with the ones who conform.
We made “tree planting” priority,
In the wide direction, we became 'five.'
Be entrusted to Allah…”
I am Mevlana.
I took the word.
I saw the question:
“What is ‘we became five’?” is said.
Beyond of four is asked.
‘Four,’ [is] the one that is known,
‘Five,’ is the one that is searched.
“What is the one that is searched?” is said.
Osman says,
“The one who is blind, searches stick,
The one who leans on, [searches] support.”
Is there anyone who does not search?
‘Four,’ we said, we gave line;
We added five to four.
“In your hand?” is being said,
He/she asks the word from me.
What is the one that searches and the one that is searched?
The one who does not mature [spiritually], does not search,
The One That is not searched is not found.
Voila, five is that.
Four: the one who knows.
Five: the one who searches.
Four knows every one that is given,
Five knows only the four, searches for them, gives what he/she searches.
However, he/she knows
Not what he/she gives
But only them.
And that is called “to be ready.” [? And he/she is called as ready. ?]
“Let us open,” is said. [we are asked to clarify]
My Yunus says,
“Science is 'knowing.' [science is to know]
The one who knows is wise.
The one who sees is gentle. [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]
The one who is silent is flawless.”
“Let us learn, let us know, let us take HIS science from you,” is said.
When it is passed from four to five,
It is thought saying, “From the ones who are mistaken?” [one thought: "was mistake being made at 'four'?"]
Five can of course not take the place of four.
Yet four can not cover the roof on its own…
(Question: Is five the one that covers the roof?)
Path is convenient. [Affirmative]
The [current] day’s interpretation is like the load [that is] put in ship:
Some are opened, some are passed.
The one that is opened, is the one that is chosen.
The one that is passed,
Even if it is late,
Is opened at the harbor where it goes to.
There is none that stays [as] closed.
Like in the example of tree,
It does not stay without leaf.
Let it be known that
Our day - the ones who come to us
Are for good deed.
Let one find [while holding] hand in hand.
[according to] Your wish,
Let the messy order find HIS place [HIS order] in accordance with your pleading.
[there is a folk saying:]
“The bride who does not [walk with a] sway[ing movement], is not loved,
The bridegroom who is not tested, is not praised.”
[however,]
Whatever his/her crime may be,
Human is not beaten.
Let us love even if she does not sway,
Let us love even if he is not tested.
Let us pardon even if his/her crime is not covered.
The importance of our day is this,
The turning [point] of our lifetime is this.
The One Who will make HIS human know one another is HIM.
HE is yours,
HE is mine,
HE is all humans’.
All [humans] are HIS.
“The new one” is the one that you take; [the new one==ONEness of HEARTs]
The new one is the one that you write;
The new one is the one that you solve with passage, without passage.
What the pleading gives
Is human’s arrival [at HIM].
If it does not make arrive,
[then] The fault in pleading is yours.
There is no “borrowed pleading.” [pleading is not copied from someone else]
Eyvallah.
When pleading, first become totally empty.
Think:
Is my love enough for each one whom/that I think of?
Or does one add grudge in between?
When it is like that,
When one pleads while one is all empty,
Of course your pleading makes you arrive at the place that you wish for.
What is meant by “emptiness” is not lovelessness,
It is “good-bad thought.”
Be entrusted to my Allah.
Whatever happens,
Whoever comes,
Love-love-without seeing any fault, love.
Goodbye.

I am Mevlana.
If hal is asked about to the new one, [the new one==ONEness of HEARTs]
It says, “To my path!”,
It sifts the passerby through [the sieve of spiritual] maturation.
If you can not cover your foot [with the quilt when you are in bed],
Change not your cover but your hal.
In the word of the one [saint] who comes,
The real one of the plan is known;
Neither does it erode nor is it carried.
If one asks the moon, [moon==Hazrat Ali]
If “is there reality?” is said:
There is The One Who creates The Reality.
The trouble of the one who falls down
Stays in him/herself, not at the place where he/she falls.
What the lake gives: [is] shadow,
What the one who takes, sees: [is] mirror.
If you look at the lake, it gives [your shadow to you]. [lake==religious fanatic]
Load is given to the saddle of the horse, [load is put on the saddle of the horse]
“The one that carries [the load] is the horse,” is said.
What I mean when I say, “Put your foot according to your cover,” is that one:
Red shoe [is] in his/her hand,
Hal in the tongue of the one who is talked about.
It is said sweetly,
It is listened sweetly. [be content with what you have, enjoy what HE gave/gives...]
Science is seen in every human who reads;
However, not each one who reads is wise.
Say to the one who says,
“I planted crop, I harvested weed, I chose the field with stone”: [I chose the stony field]
The hand that plants the crop,
Does it not screen the stone?
Does one not look for soil without stone? [Does one not search soil that has no stone?]
If he/she does, can he/she not find [it]?
He said, my Yunus took the word.
I searched addition for cloth,
I added word to epic.
I went forward, I looked behind.
I put my heart on the path of the one who comes.
“Is your heart apple so that you put on the path,
You present deep love to HIS human on HIS path,” he said,
My friend of path asked.
I said:
If it is apple,
It gives as much as its tree,
At the end, “It finished,” is said.
Like in the example of tree,
Interpretation turns green in each season. [each one may interpret differently]
What is added is knowledge;
What is waited for [is] vision; [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]
What is searched [is] the giving;
What is wished for [is] the display.
“If all were in me,
If they were given to HIS human,” is being said.
It does not matter whether it is in you or in me,
One is not bitterly sorry when he/she does not have [it/them].
Vision to the one that is in eye,
Giving to the one who comes to word.
You,
Let you find the embrace in tongue,
Let you embrace the universe with your heart.
He/she embraced as much as he/she could embrace,
He/she whirled to arrive [at HIM],
[? He/she returned [to after earth life] to arrive at HIM. ?]
He/she loved to die for,
To give HIS path to all [humans].
At the place where there is mind, [at the place] where logic traces,
Fault gives harm only to oneself
Because mind takes the logic to correctness.
Correctness teaches human not to harm anyone.
“How?” is said, it is wished that it is open [clearer].
What is mind?
The one that can trace the frame,
[the one] That can turn to the way of logic.
“What is logic?” is said.
The filter of the mind.
Its wideness is asked, [how big is the filter that is called logic?]
“Example,” is said. [one asked for example]
Of course the border of the mind
Is not traced in accordance with human’s knowledge.
Mind that can turn to every direction
Can not reach the line of logic
Because it can not become united in judgment.
For the mind, what comes before all is the judgment of the events,
Is the worry of 'good-bad.'
The one who nourishes the mind in one direction
Is the one who can make contact with events,
Is the one who can sift the events with [through] his/her logic.
When it is like that,
What he/she gives is equal to what he/she takes,
Human’s chat with human is harmony for the universe.
Love nourishes the hearts,
Love decorates the universe.
Let one not say,
“I took what I will take,
I knew what I will give.”
[because]
What you will take does not end.
When it is like that,
Will what you will give, be enough?
You said [about] your foot, you asked [about] your [? HIS ?] path;
Each time you asked, you searched science.
Science is endless, to the one who can take.
Let one not say,
“Moon and star are alone in the sky.” [moon==Hazrat Ali; star==saint]
My Yunus says:
“Does the moon mature thanks to you, [or] do you mature [spiritually] thanks to the moon?”
You see the one who becomes [spiritually] mature as close.
I am the eye that sees,
[I am] The tongue that says.
I am the water that flows,
I am the habit [that is] in you.”
“How?” is being said.
The one who searches [HIS] path, knows my hal.
Even if he/she does not ask [about] my place,
He/she conforms to my heart.
When it is like that,
When “from me” is said,
Does it not become as I said, “I am”?
“What comes is spring [season],” is said;
At night, dawn is waited for.
If you do not wait, does it not happen?
Does the one who waits for the spring
Not know that the future has its summer, its winter?
Even though it is known that it will come,
Even though summer-winter are seen,
Spring is still waited for…
Say to the one who asks saying, “Where is our place?”:
In the heart of human.
[hence,]
Give as much as it fills.
One finds the path that is consulted about;
Let it not be thought that he/she stays alone at the passage… [his/her saint will be with him/her in the moment of migration to after earth life…]
To the one who says, “Where is equality?”
Give leaf as example.
Tree wraps itself up in leaves until it is full.
Is it ever seen that it bends forward?
When it takes its fruit, [when its fruits ripen]
When it finds its day,
It bends its branch,
It divides [shares] its power.
We moved forward on the path,
We came to the [current] day,
We held hand in hand with all [humans];
We saw the salvation from hand to hand. [? We saw the salvation from human to human. ?]
[hand in hand] Connection does not bear disruption;
The one who disrupts, does not know the love;
If he/she does not know, he/she does not conform to The Giver.
Let the one who does not conform, find the salvation,
Let my Allah make [him/her] find the one who knows [HIS path].
“Is there any need for word,
Does my Allah not see?”
He said, my Yunus entered the word. [he joined the chat]
Of course HE does see, HE protects HIS human.
However, [for human who pleads with HIM]
HE writes divine merit of pleading. [HE rewards with divine merit for his/her pleading]
Chat [is] like in the example of [meal] table:
Neither does one eat continuously,
Nor does one run away from eating.
Meal [time] will come,
HIS human will take advice.
[spiritual] Immaturity [is] not because of The One Who traces;
Being 'not tied' [is] not because of the one who unties.
If you say,
“I took, I gave as I took,”
“You found soil without stone,
You harvest what you plant,” I say.
Vision of the one who is drunkard
Is the tune of the grape [that is] in vineyard.
If you love the grape, you know your [? HIS ?] writing;
Do not wait for the noble one,
Do not look for the degenerate one.
Say to the one who says, “Degenerate,” for the new one: [the new one==ONEness of HEARTs; the old one==old spiritual beliefs]
If you know the old one as thesis,
If you give your vision to there,
[then] The new one makes you shine.
[in such a case, you would] Say,
“The old one [is] my knowledge,
The new one [is] my vision.” [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]
Neither erase the old one,
Nor divide the new one:
Tie [them together], find [like that].

The one who wishes, becomes [spiritually] mature,
Day comes, he/she is remembered [goodly].
