I am Mevlana.
We took from the essence,
We gave with word.
Secret hands,
Secret tongues
Do not give us secret paths.
Beautiful hals do not conform to the one that is secret.
We said openly,
We gave openly.
We explained deep love, with essence.
We have been chatting for years
So that the one who takes, comes,
So that the one who comes, knows,
So that the one who knows, loves.
We had heart-to-heart talk with the one who said, “Worry [/trouble].”
Whom did we search in whom?
When you searched, what did you see?
You loved the one whom you longed for;
The one who/that was said about, “Love!”
You walked and passed [him/her/it]… [we asked you to love all of HIS creations, but you ignored...]
Let us say "Eyvallah,"
Let us conform to hal in the name of HAK.
Goodbye.

I am Mevlana.
Our path is full with all of you,
Our heart [is full] with the universe.
Let selam [peace/greeting] be.
Let
Each human who wishes to take
Know that he/she will take.
Soft path [belongs] to the one who knows his/her place;
Soft heart [belongs] to the one who finds HIS path.
All of us, we became One,
We came, we came together.
Our word is
In openness,
In earth hal where The Reality is given,
[in earth hal] Where the one that is hoped for is praised,
In the one who knows him/herself in earth hal…
Omar says:
Each step that we take
Shortens the path.
However,
Let one hold hand in hand,
Let one come with other human[s].
“We took step to the new one, [the new one==ONEness of HEARTs' teachings]
We found taste in the new one,” you say.
Eyvallah.
We gave the mirror to hand
Not on the [current] day
But yesterday.
On the [current] day, we asked [about] the image.
You are from the ones who take, [however,]
Have you been from the ones who give? [have you been sharing The Meaning?]
If you gave,
Did you conform to the one that HE gave?
You will ask yourself,
You will reach the decision.
“He gave such [a] soft path,
Why did he dive into interrogation now?” is being said. [why does Hazrat Mevlana interrogate us?]
Interrogation is from HAK,
Path is from us.
We put on the light shoe, [to put on light shoe==to follow the footprints of Prophet Mohammad]
We entered the [HIS] path together with all [humans].
During our interrogation, we abased ourself,
“My Allah, we took from YOU,
We gave YOU to the one who wished,” we said.
Let us say, “Eyvallah,”
Let all of us be at ease.
Worry is not for us.
“Who are ‘us’ that is said about?” is said.
You-us, we are together,
We become 'us/we.'
Beauty is that:
Let us say
Not ‘I/you’
But ‘us/we.’
“We became one
With the torrent that flows from the mountain,
With the wind that comes from the path,
We came together,”
He said, my Yunus greeted.
"Why do you come with wind, with torrent?” is being said.
Wind makes run,
Torrent makes be excited.
Two [of them] become one,
Make us be reunited.
Hand of close friend,
Tongue of close friend:
Foundation of ONEness.
Nonsatisfaction is the stone of the universe;
Unconformity [is] miscomprehension of human.
Let us make the smoke disappear.
When you hold the fabric in hand,
You look at its length;
If it comes as narrow,
You hold [choose] the one that is wide.
The one that comes as narrow
Is the one that does not wrap you,
Not the one that is negative.
It does not matter if the cloth comes as narrow
As long as the heart is soft,
He said, my Yunus walked.
Let us say, “Ya Allah,”
Let us walk in rows,
Let us find the seven at its place.
“The one who can not cross, does not come,
The one who does not search, does not ask,” [they] said,
Sevens greeted. [sevens=plural of 7]
Let their names be known,
Let them be remembered with pleading.
(Question: Seven girls?)
No.
(Question: Seven sleepers?)
Eyvallah.
On the path of the frequented place,
In the tongue of all [humans],
In HIS direction that is searched,
They came,
They saw,
They loved,
They returned.
One said, ‘Sleeping one,’
One asked about our finding.
One matured [spiritually]
Not because of sleeping
But because of knowing.
We became [spiritually] mature
Similar to how
The one who knows to take,
The one who opens the vision [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]
Found.
We stayed at the place where we matured. [our spiritual level was in accordance with our spiritual maturity]
We took ‘Seven’ as name.
The one who is [spiritually] immature
Takes from the one who is [spiritually] mature.
Let one not say,
“Is the one who is [spiritually] mature, not consumed?”
[similar to how:]
When it is pruned [when tree is pruned]
It gives fresh sprouts;
[the one who is spiritually mature:]
When he/she is taken from,
He/she is nourished.
Mountain does not nourish mountain.
However,
Water nourishes water:
It both nourishes the water
And decorates the soil.
There is no notch between us.
Openness is in us.
We crossed the notch,
We reached the flat path.
We passed the oath long time ago.
The one who is [spiritually] immature,
Whether he/she knows to take or not
He/she will try to learn.
It is being asked:
“What does it mean when it is said:
‘We loved the one that we hoped for,
We passed the one that was said about, ‘Love!’’”
The one that is hoped for, does not come to our path;
Let us be from the ones who conformed.
‘To hope’ is ‘to reserve [a] place for oneself.’
“Who is the one whom we walk by and pass?” is being said.
Let us say, “Ya Allah,”
Let us enter the word like that.
Who is the one whom we wish to love?
Not the form.
‘To love’ is not wished:
One loves. [one does not wish to love; one just loves]
'To search the one whom you will love'
Is 'to dream.'
Love
Not the one that is in your dream
But all the ones that are
In your eye,
In your ear, [love everything that you see, you hear]
On his/her skin,
On his/her direction. [love regardless of his/her skin color, of his/her faith]
If you say,
“My foot does not carry,
My tongue does not finish,”
Think of the place where you are,
Love [at least] the one that is there.
You say,
“Do I not find mistake?
Do I not warn?”
Mistake is found in idea,
Not in form.
(Question: Is the mistake in idea?)
Eyvallah. [affirmative]
Form is in The Creator,
Idea [is] in the creation.
The creation may make mistake in every moment,
[however,] The Creator [does] never [make any mistake].
Beauty
Is in entering even the interpretation of the word
Without breaking heart, without being broken in heart;
[beauty] Is in showing the [HIS] order while praising.
I am Mevlana.
I took ‘to love’ from Omar. [I learned to love thanks to Omar]
I knew from HIS Representative. [I knew [The Meaning] thanks to HIS Representative]
I saw from Ali. [I learned to see HIM in HIS creations thanks to Ali]
I rolled up from Osman.
I wound from Ebubekir like in the example of wool ball.
Like in the example of belt,
I wrapped from waist to waist. [I hugged humans one after another]
Let it not be thought that I was tired.
I was kneaded with every hal,
I was roasted with HIS deep love.
I said, “Ya Allah,”
I greeted respectfully,
I said the Salavat. [Salavat= a prayer in which God is asked to bless Prophet Muhammad and his descendants [his descendants==all humans]]
I was remembered with my Yunus.
Be among the ones who are remembered,
Find together with all [humans].
Be thrown into air like in the example of dust,
Come together like in the example of ash.
Open your arms to fire,
When it is necessary,
Be cover to [for] fire.
Our aims are all one.
We will go step by step,
On the day that will come,
We will give the ‘sixth.’
We will give with word,
We will show with essence.
Let selam [peace/greeting] be.
Let it be known that it will come.
Be entrusted to my Allah,
Goodbye.

I am Mevlana.
We took path to the new one, [the new one=ONEness of HEARTs]
We came to the flat one of the path.
We became one with all [humans],
We greeted respectfully.
We remembered from heart
Each human who said, “Darling, Darling.”
We drank sip by sip,
We got excited saying, ‘Darling,’
He said, my Yunus took the word:
Sand’s path is flat
[similar to how]
End of winter is summer.
What word gives
Is as much as the heart takes.
What the heart takes
Is as much as it gives to all [humans].
The one who searches cause
Is the one who does not conform to The Giver.
The one who takes from earth,
Gives to earth.
If you take care of your [? HIS ?] vineyard,
You take its fruit.
I love violet because its modesty is a lot.
I am Yunus, I love
The flower that is on the mountain,
The bug that is at the plain,
The Reality That is in the universe.
I love the morning because my vision extends;
I love the night because reflection [thinking] increases.
What I saw during the day, I live [it] at night.
If it is like that, why would I be upset by the darkness?
[Previous verses may be better understood under the light of the following information: during sleep, spirit of the human who has Allah's permission meets with other spirits of the same spiritual level and/or his/her saint. Human's spiritual education continues during such meetings that take place in LIGHT...]
If you see HIM in leaf, in soil,
If you love HIM in flower, in bug,
If you praise HIM in each one that/whom you see,
“You are from the ones who conform,” I say.
[The above verses may be better understood under the light of the following information: Allah created/creates the matter by transforming some of HIS LIGHT into matter. All matter that is visible to human eye is the image that HE shows us. Each component in the image [i.e. bird, mountain, bacteria, human body, moon, other planets, etc.] is HIS creation. ‘To love HIS creations’ is, in other words, to love HIM…]
I am Yunus,
I come in moment,
I come together with the ones who remember in the nest. [nest==Mevlana’s/Garib’s congregation]
It is seen
That you remember The One Who exists,
That you plead.
“Let my Allah be pleased,” is being said.
You took from ‘ney,’ [ney= nay, a reed flute (often used to play Mevlevi music)]
You knew the ney player.
You took from wine,
You asked about the wine server.
You conformed to pleading saying, “My place is in heart.”
Let your pleading be abundant.
We gave hand in hand,
“Our name is Yunus,” we said.
We came at dawn, we saw. [to come at dawn==to be born in body on earth] [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]
There is no measure of deep love;
Even if it stays without measure, it does not overflow.
Even if your birth is dry, [birth==1. to be physically born on earth; 2. to come to one's senses; 3. to migrate to after earth life.]
My coming conforms to your yield.
“How?” is being said.
There may be such soil that
Its yield is seen as scarce;
However, it finds its value in the hand of the one
Who knows the soil.
If you say, “The soil is not productive,”
It is understood that you look at outside appearance.
We always say:
‘The measure that you will give
Is not to [for] what you see’… [do not judge by looking at the outside appearance]
Search the essence of the soil that is not productive.
One searches mursheed for that [reason].
If nothingness is seen on the outside of the ground,
Search its inside:
So many mines are inside of the ground.
We spun, we kneaded,
We brought until this day.
Let my Allah be pleased with all [humans].
Of course we are saying to you.
Let The One Whom you lean on, be The Lofty One,
Let your heart path stay like this.
Lifetime will be smokeless,
My Yunus will come again,
Will give what he took/takes.
Nazan becomes ONE with Darling. [nazan==the one who is subject to coyness, i.e. human]
HE coys;
Neither nazan nor Darling complain.
At the place where [spiritual] water flows,
Everything that happens is, of course, called destiny.
Our place, our path conform to destiny.
HIS human who loves, leans his/her back on HAK.
We loved all [humans] to die for,
We will love,
We will rise as much as we love.
Love is human’s wing.
Let our pleading be abundant,
Let my Allah pour The Reality into hearts.
Soft path belongs to all of us.
Let one not say,
"Let the silver hair not separate our place." [let the wise one not discriminate among us]
We fell in deep love, we matured [spiritually].
We are among the ones who know, who see, [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]
We are not mistaken.
We do not hold
Shah responsible for his throne,
Shepherd [responsible] for his/her destiny. [Allah is responsible for every event]
Let selam [peace/greeting] be to all of you.
Yunus came, let him give what he took:
We took our youth, we gave our maturity,
We said, “Let selam be.”
Let my Allah be pleased with the ones whose selams are abundant.
Let good deed come to all of you.
Let worries be erased.
Let one know that there is no narrow passage.
