I am Mevlana.
If you take the phyllo in the hand, if you say, “I knew its place,”
How much is what you know?
The one that is ready, the one that comes to hand
Resembles the folk song that is added to word, that is tuned with "saz." [saz= a stringed instrument (which somewhat resembles a lute)]
Who is The One Who compiles the folk song?
Who is The One Who compiles and distributes?
Who is The One Who distributes and grinds?
Let greeting be to all of you,
Let the one who comes [to earth] find,
Let the one who goes [to after earth life] be [spiritually] mature.

Let our path open not as said but as hoped for.
“How?” is being said.
What is said is limited, what is hoped for is endless.

In tongue, 'hal' is said,
In heart, tree turns green.

Soil is soil even if you take one handful,
Even if you let your heart go to desert, it is still soil.
However, one handful of soil makes [one] find, takes [him/her] to desert.

Haircloths are for the one who wears, loaf [of bread is] for the one who eats.
Did you look at the one who wears, did you ask the one who eats?
If he/she is the one who knows his/her place,
If he/she is the one who sees HIS day,
He/she says, “Eyvallah,” he/she does not give the one that happens, [he/she does not give] the one that does not happen. [he/she does not talk about events]
He/she does not display his/her intention for the one who asks [about it].

If you say, “Did my foot take [me correctly or], did my foot make mistake and deviated [from HIS path]?”
Then you protect your ego and you devote the fault to your foot.

[spiritual] Immaturity is not due to [spiritual] immaturity.

Inappropriate word makes one look for appropriate silence.

Until its time comes,
Until wheat gives spike,
Sun distributes to its region.
When its time comes, it [sun] makes the wheat turn yellow.
Why does it not turn yellow before,
[why] Does the tree not shed its leaf [before its time]?
The sun that makes the wheat turn yellow, why does it not make the leaf turn yellow?

“To the one who knows his place,” we said, we gave the word to my Yunus.
If hand finds the hand, if rose knows the nightingale,
Neither does other human cry, nor does nightingale tie heart to rose.
Let you search the surrounding, let you find in face The Beautiful One.
If the tongue said, let you look in on your heart.
Glass does not take from life.
Life does not conform to assembly,
One does not know with word.
Each one who comes [to earth]
Says, “Allah,” and comes,
Says, “Allah,” and goes [to after earth life].
The one who conforms
From coming [to earth] until going [to after earth life],
If he/she looks at what HE said [in Koran] as it has been being said [during our chats [in ONEness of HEARTs]],
[then]
He/she does not light torch to [in] HIS shade.
Notch is cut if the wall is closed. [i.e. if there is no door]
You, look for the door!
The one who says, “Let me be off the ground,”
Is the one who wishes for wing for him/herself.
The one who wishes for wing for him/herself
Should know each existing one as beautiful.
My Yunus greeted all [humans].

Forefather makes one be remembered with his [forefather’s] name;
Effort makes one fall in HIS deep love.
The one who says, “My deep love is big,”
Where does he/she find the measure?
Is there anyone who knows his/her deep love?
If he/she took HIS path, if he/she erased him/herself,
[then] The one who says, “I am in deep love,” is the one who sets limit to his/her deep love;
[because] There is no limit of deep love.
Can you find endlessness?

I am Mevlana, I gave the word of the chat to the spokesman.
If you are from the ones who know the day of what will happen, are you called “wise”? [if you claim to be fortuneteller, do you become wise?]
The one who is flawless is the one who looks at the progress [of the event] from the corner.
The one who is wise is the one who sees the one who looks from the corner.
Let us be flawless, let us leave ourself to The Seer, with submission.

Beauty of the chat is
Because it opens path to going to salvation.
Because the one who chooses the new one throws [away] the old one,
Because it adds word to word, [because ONEness of HEARTs adds the new teachings to the old one]
Chat’s day never passes. [our chats never get old]

In reality, human does not choose the day;
He/she conforms to The One Who chooses,
He/she pleads for the one [event] that does not conform. [? He/she pleads for the one who does not conform. ?]
Beauty is there.
Unconformity of the one who knows, shows that he/she does not know.
“To know” is not saying, “I know!”

Not our place but our heart is open.

I said before, tale is not necessary.

If you say, “I gave the loaf, I threw wheat to the field,”
You do not wait for the one that turns green.
If the soil is barren, wait for the current [of water/of events].
Each event is for possibility;
Even “erosion” is in service for soil to change.
Of course changing of the soil is not in the power of human.
Let you be among the ones who know to come to their senses.

6 December 1974

I am Mevlana.
My Yunus and I came,
We laughed at all [humans].
We found in the color of the rose, in the equivalent of the nightingale.
Let greeting be to all of you.

We took word, we gave to tongue,
In the giving, we saw Yunus.
If you say, “How?”
“Word [is] from me, essence [is] from you, writing [is] from HIM,” he said,
My Yunus took the word.
“[spiritual] Maturation,” is said:
From whom is it asked about the one who can not mature? [who told you that he/she can not mature spiritually?]
If you look for the one who goes, ask from his/her heart.
Do not forget that there is no one who goes, [but] there is the one who finds,
There is the one who makes known that he/she found.
I found in the moment when I arrived,
I saw in the moment when I watched with deep reverence, he said.
Watching is “turning,” [watching] is “conforming to the one that happens.”

It is asked about destiny.
Why was the universe set up?
The one who searches the measure of his/her power [human who is tries to be powerful under the influence of his/her ego;]
Separated the night from the day like that. [Previous verses may be better understood under the light of the following information: during sleep soul of the human who has permission of Allah meets with other spirits of the same spiritual level and/or his/her saint. [Human who gives him/herself up to his/her ego that tries to be powerful on earth is not on HIS path...]]
In the flowing one of the water, shadow stays behind.
In the stagnant one, the shadow of each one that is on its surface stays in the water.
Openness is that
The Writer wrote neither on this day nor yesterday.
At the foundation of the universe each event was written,
The role of each creation was given.
The value of your coming [to earth] is because of your giving.
If you say, “What do I give?” Whatever you take.
Eyvallah,” he said, my Yunus greeted all [humans].

If we consider ayran and yogurt as one, [ayran=airan, a drink made of yogurt and water][if we say that ayran and yogurt are the same]
Then we deny its water.
If we consider yogurt and milk as one,
Then we deny its yeast.
We never deny the creation.
However, we do not make sultan the one that is called as abominable either.
Are you among the ones who,
When entering the palace, greet the servant saying, “Sultan”?
Are you among the ones who
Turn their back to sultan saying, "[I think he is a] Servant"?
Nevertheless, the duty that they perform can never be denied:
If there is no servant, [then] there is no compliment for the sultan.

Word is connected to word,
Human entertains him/herself with word.
Entertainment is turned into action.
If there is corruption in action, one falls in denial
Because
Societies do never give permission to corrupt action.
If it is said, “The ones that happen are what?”
Contradiction of the one that is positive and the one that is negative.
The negative one could find shelter in no society
Because the place that is wished for in negativity, is not reached yet.
Be at ease, do not complain about the hair that falls:
The one that falls is the savior of the one that does not fall.

If you took a glance at the grapevine,
If you saw the beautiful one there,
“You learned to love,” I say.
“Why?” is said.
Grapevine is the symbol of love.
There is no mistake.
Grapevine takes from leaf, brings [it] until meyhane, [meyhane=bar/restaurant like public place in 14th century where wine was served] [sun==Prophet Mohammad]
From meyhane, door opens to endless love,
Every beautiful one comes together [with one another] there.
If you say, “How?”
Heart gets used to see beautifully.
Meyhane is the symbol of [spiritual] maturity.

Where does the war start, where does it end?
When your [spiritual] maturation takes word, it starts,
When it erases the word, it ends.
“What is ‘erasing of the word’?” is said.
“Erasing of the word” is in knowing,
Knowing is in conformity.
Does the one who conforms need any word?

Be entrusted to my Allah,
Know him/her with HIM. [? Know HIM with him/her. ?]
Love all [humans] because they are HIS.
See beauty in each creation because he/she/it is from HIM.

3 January 1975

I am Mevlana.
Our path is the finding of not the formation
But the one who seeks. [our path makes the one who seeks HIM, find]
If you say, “Is the one who finds and the one who does not find one?”
Path is not one [path is not the same, however], the place where he/she arrives is one [the same].
We take not from the word but from the essence of HIS human.
Whatever he/she says, even if he/she denies,
The end of his/her path is to HIM.
What he/she denies is the body, not the essence.
Denial of the essence can not be.

Pleading is performed not for what the heart gives to body
But for what HAK gives to heart.
With pleading you can not make mature the one who is [spiritually] immature.
You can only make [him/her] find,
You make him/her say, “Eyvallah,” for the one that does not happen.

The one who can not overcome the difficulty
Is the one who can not know the nothingness.
The one who can not know the nothingness
Is the one who can not conform to the writing.

Whatever is said,
Let each word be kneaded with honey:
Even if it is painful, even if it comes as bitter,
It disappears in the flavor of the honey,
It is engraved in human’s heart.

Border does not give word to the one who goes [to after earth life].
If you say, “Why?”
Because he/she conformed to its beginning, [because] he/she found its end.
Word of the birth, day of the death are known.
[however,] There is neither the end nor the beginning of the return. [This verse may be better understood under the light of the following information: time is in matter environment only...]

If you say, “Eye belongs to the one who sees,”
Then you ask the one who does not see:
On which path is his/her vision,
In which direction is his/her foot?

The one who measures [compares] the new one with the old one
Is the one who puts difference in between.
However,
The old one is the beginning of the new one.

If you take from life,
If you know from Darling,
Do not say, “I die on HIS path.”                             
Negativity is not the structure of the one who matures [spiritually].
I said before:
If you know, you love,
If you love, you are loved.
Love is cradle;
To know, to love are the legs of the cradle.
If you do not know, if you do not love,
Where do you put the cradle?

“Where does our question start, where does it end?” is said.
Toward which path is the intention of the one who puts on military helmet?
Of course toward war.
The question of the one who goes to war
Is as much as they fight.
The question of the one who goes to peace
Is until the moment in which he/she finds his/her place,
Is until the moment in which he/she sets up the peace.

No less, no more:
Sheep walks as much
As the shepherd drives.
Does it have harm? [is it harmful?]
Of course it does not.
Why?
Because it takes no more than what is given.

If you sat in the shade of hollow tree,
Did you take its sound?
Did you know that it gives the one that is empty?
Did you see that
Even with hollow trunk it nourishes its leaf?
Let
Autumn leaf be on ground,
Word be in you,
Intention be in all [humans].
Let the word of all [humans] stay in us.

Let one not say [bad] word about less.
Let one not fall in questioning about The One Who gives the more.

The one who can not descend from the gallows,
The one who can get out because of 'bol' [bol=cocktail prepared with liquor, wine, fruit juice, and mineral water]
Does not come.

If “suffering” is said, it is not asked to the one who is noble.
“Who is noble?” is said.
The one who seeks path for his/her water,
The one who says, “I sought, I found,”
The one who knows nobleness in saying [so].       

"When it is said,
'Let you give advice, let us take,
Let us know our hal,
Let us find HAK path,'
I took, I matured [spiritually], I found,"
He said, my Yunus came.
Take, mature, know!
Does one take without knowing?
Does one become mature without taking?
“My Yunus said the opposite,” you say. ['my Yunus said in the wrong order,' you say]
You can not mature without taking,
You can not know without maturing,
Even if you know, you can not say, “I knew.”
Because the more you know, the more you see your ignorance.

“Let you tell [us] the remedy, let you gather us [let you give us lesson],” is being said.
The moment in which the reality is known, door opens to unknown
Because
Unknown comes behind each one who knows,
Like that, he/she walks, he/she walks...

If he/she does not mature [spiritually], HE is not known;
If HE is not known, HE is not found.
The door that is not found, is not forced.

Do not take dust to your foot, [do not let your foot get dusty]
Wait in the shade of the tree.
Add what you learn to what you know.

If you say, “Is the reality sought?”
The reality is the one that you believe.
[according to] What each human believes
According to his/her own measure
[he/she] Finds his/her real place.
If you put needle to the saddle of the horse that runs
Does the horse go not to reality but to what you believe?
Never:
It only turns [in circle] at the place where it is.

I am Mevlana.
Mouth is door not only for the one who [? that ?] comes
But also for the one who [? that ?] goes.
Body is structure for the one who [? that ?] comes
As well as for the one who [? that ?] goes.

Let us open the vision. [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]

Let us run away from spare. [because keeping spare is “not trusting the giving of The Giver”]

Let us not set negative intention up, [? Let us not set up intention for something that can not happen, ?]

[if we are] Inefficient, let us not drive herd. [if we do not know The Reality, let us not [try to] guide/teach humans [about The Reality]...]

Be entrusted to my Allah.
Let you find together with all [humans].
Know that hand is in hand.
Give the tongue together with honey. [speak sweetly]
If you say, “How is tongue given?”
Mix the word with honey.
Goodbye.
