BISMILLAHIRAHMANIRAHIM [IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE MOST MERCIFUL, THE MOST COMPASSIONATE]
Footprint does not persist in desert,
[even though] Storm does not cover the sand.
Come on, say your word
As well as play your saz. [saz= a stringed musical instrument; saz==song of heart]
Your night turns into day,
Candles die down all at once.
If you wish for rose for your collar, [rose==Prophet Mohammad]
My Rab presents [it] to you.
Mevlana and Shams
Came and stood in the caravansary.
They said:
Let us become ONEness,
Let us look at all sides.
Whomever we look at, it is appropriate.
To be human
Is the benefit of the creation,
They said, they greeted.
On the display of Yunus,
I saw his [? HIS ?] flowers.
I loved each flower that is created
Saying, “From my Rab.”
I looked at HIS humans who are loved:
Each human resembles to one flower.
I thought saying,
“One should be beautiful like that,
One should serve like that.”
I put my heart in [I fell in love with]
The Essence of the flowers.
Each one of them said:
The One Who does not separate
Us from us,
Us from word,
Us from eye
Is my Rab.
The One Who makes us one with human is my Rab.
The One Who shows us from beautiful to beautiful
Is again my Rab.
We plead with HIM endlessly.
I asked Hazrat Ali:
Are todays [these current days] holiday?
Are they [days of] promenade for humanity?
Do our eye, our heart
Admire every beautiful one?
Hazrat Ali said:
His [Prophet Mohammad’s] being is holiday for us.
All universe admires his Light;
His spirituality is
Blessing for all universe,
Intercession for all universe.
His being
Is the love of all [humans],
Is the respect of all [humans],
Is his selam [peace/greeting] to all universe.
Let our hearts be in ONEness,
Let [our hearts] fill with love,
Let [our hearts] know deep love of Hak.
Amen.
Let selam [peace/greeting] be, let selam be, let selam be.
Allahu Ekber [Allah is The Greatest], Allahu Ekber, Allahu Ekber.
Lailaheillallah Muhammeden Resulullah. [Allah is The only One to be worshiped; we wish to YOU and to Your Representative Mohammad.]
