IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE MOST MERCIFUL, THE MOST COMPASSIONATE
The ones who plant the saplings,
The ones who pour water to its root,
The ones who see The Most Beautiful One in their vision, [vision==to see HIM in HIS creations]
They say:
Each event
That my Rab creates,
[each event] That angels look after,
[each event] That human talks about saying "beautiful"
Tells [explains] us ourself.
Whatever there is in human's heart
His/her eye sees like that too,
His/her ear takes the most beautiful word.
He/she knows that
Universe that is created for human
Tells human
The holiness of being created;
If HE blew into us from Himself,
If HE ornamented the universe for us,
If HE kept His love in our hearts,
[then] To find Him,
To disseminate Him [to share The Meaning]
Is the most sacred duty of human.
To love, to be loved
Exalts human.
[HE is] In the deep love of Mevlana.
In each moment, he [Mevlana] lives in HIS practice:
He looks at overflowing waters,
He lights the torch of each one who wishes.
"Come whoever you are," he says,
He holds the hand of each one who wishes.
Yunus Emre [is] in eternity,
His heart promenades in beautiful;
He peels the leaves, however,
His mind stays in dry autumn leaf. [he keeps on thinking about dry leaf, he feels sad about it]
In the hand of Kaygusuz [Kaygusuz Abdal==love crazy
who has no worry]
[Kaygusuz Abdal was a Sufi saint whose real name was Alaaddin Gaybi; he lived on earth in the late 14th, early 15th century]
Darling [is] always in his tongue,
The hal of the saints is in his dream.
He says, "Let us promenade, let us see,
It erases the rust that is in one's mind."
Hadji Bektas [is] on His path,
There is Hak's word in his tongue.
Mountains, stones are crossed,
Wheat are carried to dervish lodge.
With the saz of some, [saz=a stringed instrument (which somewhat resembles a lute).]
With the word of some,
With the eye of some
The one that is unknown is stoned.
Do not respect the one that is unknown,
Do not take off The Beautiful One That you know.
Do not put on your tables food that is not 'helal,' [helal=Islam canonically lawful, permissible, legitimate]
[because] That table is the table of Rab,
It makes human come together with human,
It makes human talk with love.
Meryem and
Fatima [Meryem=Virgin Mary]
Are the sound of memories,
Are the ornament of mothers,
Are the Kaaba of the love of mother.
There is our place, [that place is our place]
Said Meryem.
That post is the post of darlings,
Said Fatima.
It is the place
Of the ones who make "love" become their habit, ["to love" becomes their habit]
Of the ones who make "good deed" become their height,
Of the ones who join darling [? Darling ?] with love.
We come together at that place,
We work at that place,
We reach the door of good deed.
Yesevi took the word.
At each post, he stopped, he stayed.
At the door of Yemen,
He came to Ali.
He asked,
In the name of the worlds
Onto the code of wise ones
Do we write the names?
Do we engrave the name of "close friend"?
Ali said,
There is [a] page that is opened
In the name of each one of them.
The knowledge of each one of them
Is chosen by him/herself.
The one that is distinguished
Is the one that Rab knows,
Is the one that Rab laughs at.
We had [a] heart-to-heart talk with Ali,
We chatted in the name of all universe.
Each one of us, we shared his [? His ?] love.
Let greeting be to all [humans].
Let selam [peace/greeting] be, let selam be, let selam be.
Allahu Ekber [Allah is The Greatest], Allahu Ekber, Allahu Ekber.
Lailaheillallah Muhammeden Resulullah. [Allah is The only One to be worshiped; we wish to YOU and to Your Representative Mohammad.]
