IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE MOST MERCIFUL, THE MOST COMPASSIONATE
If we knew about the journey
Of the birds in the air,
If we saw the aim
Of the ones living in the nature,
If we asked [about] the breath
Of the fish in the ocean,
Each one [of them] would say differently,
However, each one [of them] would meet at the same point.
To know [about] that meeting,
To solve the secret of that meeting
Is not enough for human mind. [is not within the capacity of human mind]
The plant that you wish
Does not grow at the place that you wish.
If grapevines turn green
In the vineyard of Mevlana,
If springs overflow
On the mountains of Yunus,
It becomes example for the one who sees, who knows;
Each human finds his/her Rabb
In him/herself.
To say,
"We are no more amazed at events,
One always takes the easy ways out,
We have no belief left in environment," [we do not trust the environment /society /humanity any more]
Is to erase the example of human,
[is to erase] The example of humanity.
You will stand in front of each event
That you are amazed at,
You will ask the identity of the one
Who does negatory work.
You will dress the wound of the one
Who is wounded.
[otherwise,] "It is none of my business," becomes
"It is none of our business,"
[then] Next generation finds 'curving' [wrong]
In its destiny.
How much more you know,
That much more responsibility you have. [your responsibility is as much as you know]
If you do not know your duty,
[then] 'Curved' [wrong] takes away [erases] 'straight' [right].
Hadji Bektas said that:
One should know to laugh [to laugh==to follow footprints of Prophet Mohammad]
As well as to love the one who cries.
In the name of humanity
One should respect human being.
If human being is in the direction of good deed,
He/she ends evil.
If he/she is in the direction of evil,
He/she ends good deed.
For that [reason],
We should always ripen in our hearts
The one that is good deed so that
Our name is remembered in the worlds,
[so that] One turns back from mistakes.
Pir Sultan Abdal pierced the steel;
In the structure of the steel,
He found himself.
He said that:
I solve the difficulties,
I cross out the negative.
I stroll without saying cold, hot, [I stroll in all seasons]
Wherever I see negative,
I blow like [a] storm.
My heart is warm,
[it] Does not burn anyone,
[it] Does not burn and go out like in the example of wood.
My deep love is to die for,
[my deep love] Does not see anyone, except God.
I love to be hand in hand,
I praise the ones who are hand in hand,
He said,
He conveyed his greeting to the ones who love.
In Meryem's pen [Meryem=Virgin Mary]
Literates find themselves.
Meryem's love
Comes together with all universe.
Her beloved son Isa [Jesus Christ]
Works for worlds.
My Rabb's love
Reaches all creations.
All universe comes together in one pen;
That pen
Writes the order "Be!".
Let us know that we were born, that we will die;
Let us draw that line according to my Rabb's wish,
And let us solve first ourself. [let human solve human that he/she sees in the mirror, i.e. human solves him/herself...]
Meryem and Fatima
Came together in the circle of love.
They made peace with all creations,
They reached each particle that is created.
Let us come together in their love,
Let us work, let us work, let us work in the name of Hak...
Let selam [peace/greeting] be, let selam be, let selam be.
Allahu Ekber [Allah is The Greatest], Allahu Ekber, Allahu Ekber.
